See, now this is what we need to get people to actually register to vote. You have to make it easy. I think I'm still registered, but it couldn't hurt to make sure. This site connects through bands and gets young people to register by making it easy for them. It's also got useful stuff like absentee ballots (I've never known where to get those), and resources for young people who want to vote. It's definitely worth checking out. And maybe I'll get around to that voting thingie this time....

This article talked about something I've been practicing for a long time, that I think few other people really do. It really helps you to deal with people a lot better. Only rarely does it need to be circumvented, and then only for unreasonable people. It's definitely worth checking out for all of my friends... every last one of you.

This is an interesting article. It very much goes against my own feelings about summer, as I am more active and close to nature in the winter... I'm just like a contrary like that. Anyhow, it is interesting to see all the ways that summer can be a positive thing (aside from smaller classloads), and ways to be spiritual in spite of all the heat and dreadfulness.

MSNBC - Warmer Earth means less rice
MSNBC - Warmer Earth means less rice
This is bad for two kinds of people... people who like rice, and people who need rice to survive. Luckily, I'm of the former variety, so it won't be quite so bad for me, but it's also worrisome for some of the latter variety... even just out of humanitarian ideas. Hopefully, we can figure out a way to make things work out a bit better.

It was interesting to me. It's about a Hindu way of balancing your home. You mostly just hear about Feng Shui, and hardly anything about how other cultures have approached a similar idea. It's interesting to hear another approach.

This is an interesting article about Asatru, which I have some interest in, even if I'm not a direct follower of the religion. It's still interesting to read about, and incorporate some of the ideas it has.
