I read this essay on a review from a pagan news feed. It's written by a Jewish author, but it really touched me and revealed a profound knowledge of spirit. It was a really good article, even though I was suspicious at first. I'd recommend anyone read this if they're interested in understanding different kinds of spirituality.

I hadn't seen the earlier piece, where Steven Colbert was presented with the shield, but this was quite an amusing bit that this article covers, and it also has the video. I mean, come on, it's political comedy combined with comic books, of course I like it....

Railgun

It's odd, as I was walking into work this morning, I found myself oddly thinking about railguns, and when I get inside and look at the news, they just tested one. Railguns are kind of cool, at least in the imaginative way they've been thought up, and it's kind of neat that they've actually made one, though the destructive power might perhaps have been better left in the realm of imagination. Still, it's just an interesting thing that's happened.
