I thought this would be an interesting article, and it could be, but unfortunately, the research is flawed. The linguist posted pictures on Hot or Not with different names... but unfortunately, your name is given if you choose to meet the person, which is on a different screen than where you rate them, so the connection is very weak if present at all. Having posted my pictures different times and gotten vastly different results, it all really just boils down to who is on when, how they feel, and whether they're attracted to you or not. It was some very poor scholarship.
