MSN Dating & Personals - Dont follow the leader
I find it exceedingly amusing to see that this article is titled "Don't Follow the Leader," and then it proceeds to tell you how to dress. The problem is that it tells you one person's opinions, and perhaps that person is not a kind of person all readers would like to know let alone respect their opinions. Granted, I only have one of their fashion don'ts, but just from the writing style (which, due to it being like the way the writer talks, comes across as incredibly judgemental), I can tell that I really don't like the writer. This is a problem I have for most commentators on what is hip. Maybe I don't want to be hip. Maybe I'd hate to be hip. Or maybe I just don't want to be one of the people slavishly following the underground taste... which changes so quickly. Say whatever you like, but you can just keep your advice on my account.
