Four Children Killed in Baghdad explosion

PeoplePC - News

I almost didn't want to blog this, because for me, it's just gotten to a point where I'm about sick of hearing about stuff in Iraq, but then I thought about the people who are living it. They don't have the choice to just stop reading about it, stop hearing about it, stop watching the news. It can still just come to them and blow them up, shoot them, kill them, maim them permanently. I know a lot of Americans' response is to ignore the problem because we think we can't do much of anything, but even just the intent for it to end has to add up to something. For my part, I'm still sending letters and emails to congresspeople, at least occasionally, and just taking note of what's happening. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, and as I haven't got the power to really change it, directly, I think one of the best things I can do is to witness it as fully as I can, and try to use whatever means I have at my disposal to try to change things for the better.
