I found this article more interesting because I hadn't heard about the crystal itself more than the rather hum-drum sounding celebration they were having for it. I was just excited that there was some finding that challenged the established theory. That's always exciting to me. Means that science has to rethink itself at least to some extent. That's just cool to me... and that the Earth was apparently not a giant piece of swirling magma makes things more interesting, aesthetically, too. Just thought this was interesting.
